With the advent of the Consumer Defense Code, several administrative organs of consumer protection and the Brazilian Judiciary began to intervene more intensively in consumer relations, based on several rules that put consumers in a privileged position, such as objective liability of the supplier that exempts the demonstration of guilt, interpretation of contracts with means to favor the consumer and other legal and procedural means.
